Welcome to my Homepage! Here you will find links to my couse pages, my research interests, useful links, etc...

My research interests include :

  • Understanding the role of mixed nitrogen/sulfur donors play on the chemistry of nickel containing proteins and enzymes
  • The synthesis and characterization of magnetic materials
  • Learning By Doing

I am committed to providing students the opportunity to become involved in scientific research. Often students forget concepts they see or hear, but they never forget ideas and concepts they learned from "hands-on" research. Many of my students have also been given the chance to present their work at national meetings of the American Chemical Society (so far students have presented at meetings in New Orleans, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Chicago)

Here's a couple of my favorite quotes related to Learning

    About me

    • I am currently an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. I've been at La Salle since 2002, where I teach courses in General, Analytical, Instrumental Analysis, Physical, and Inorganic Chemistry. I graduated in 1996 from La Salle with a B.A. in Chemistry and Biochemistry. I then did my graduate work with Prof. Anthony Addison at Drexel University. I received my Ph.D. degree in Inorganic Chemistry in 2002. After my graduate work, I spent a year at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J.
