- Give yourself plenty of time for ordering books and journal articles.
Here is a general idea of delivery times from fastest to slowest:
- ONLINE PERIODICAL OR JOURNAL
ARTICLES can be printed immediately at home or at the Bucks
Campus. Follow this link then select Fulltext Periodicals available
thru this catalog.
- BOOKS
AND PHOTOCOPIES
OF ARTICLES IN JOURNALS OWNED BY CONNELLY LIBRARY will arrive
at the security desk at Bucks in about a week.
- BOOKS NOT OWNED BY CONNELLY ordered through PALCI
will arrive in one to two weeks.
- BOOKS AND PHOTOCOPIES OF ARTICLES IN JOURNALS NOT OWNED BY CONNELLY
or NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH PALCI, must be ordered through INTERLIBRARY
LOAN or ordered through a FirstSearch database. Documents
ordered through ILL will take two to three weeks or more.
- If you are using the ILL (Interlibrary Loan) order form in a FirstSearch
database, remember to type "PLEASE SEND TO BUCKS" in the "Comments"
section.
- The charge for photocopying articles at Connelly is 10 cents per page.
When you pick up your articles from the Bucks Front Desk, please pay
the Librarian or the Security Guards, if she is not available. There
is no charge for photocopies ordered from Interlibrary Loan.
- There is no charge for books ordered from Connelly or Interlibrary
Loan. Books from Connelly are checked out for three weeks and may be
RENEWED ONLINE
twice. PALCI books (blue book band) are checked out for four weeks and
may be RENEWED ONLINE
once. To renew Interlibrary Loan books (yellow book band), you must
contact the Interlibrary Loan Service (215-951-1862). Renewals must
be requested prior to the due date indicated.
- All books, even those checked out at Connelly, may be returned to
the Bucks Center.
- You may check your LIBRARY
BORROWING RECORD, including overdue fines, online. Pay the Librarian
at Bucks for your fines or send a check (made out to "La Salle
University") to the Access Services Department at Connelly Library
