placed on reserve by faculty
can be obtained through
the Circulation Desk. A
valid La Salle ID must be
presented to use these items.
Reserve items are listed
in the Connelly Library
catalog and should be requested
by call number. Use either
the "Search Course Reserves
by Professor" or "Search
Course Reserves by Course"
option on the Library
Catalog page to locate
material a professor may
have placed on reserve.

reserve items please refer
to the "Finding
Reserve Items"
section of this page.
"Library Use Only"
- Check Out is 2 hrs
"Overnight" - Day Item is
due the day after it is
checked out
"Overnight" - Night Item
is due 2 days after check
out.

How
to Find E-Reserve Material
|
E-reserves
link directly to the reading
from the Library
Catalog and may be accessed
using any PC with an internet
connection. Electronic reserve
documents appear in the Library
Catalog the same way a
traditional reserve item will
but will include a hyperlink
to an online secure document.
Electronic reserve items may
be looked up by professor
or course. For more information
see "Finding
Reserve Items". |

Login
Information/ Passwords
|
Faculty
members will provide students
in their class with the necessary
login and password information.
The Librarians at the Connelly
Library will not have any
login and password information
to give to students.Passwords
are only valid for the current
semester. |

Availabilty
|
Electronic
Reserve materials are available
to La Salle University students
during the semester a course
is taught. At the end of the
Semester, all Copyright-protected
materials will be removed
from electronic reserve. |

for Students: Finding Reserve Items |
| 1.) |
From
the main "Connelly Library"
screen click on the "catalog"
link. |

From
the "Library Catalog"
screen you may search for reserve
documents by your professor's
name or by the course name. |

If
you search by professor, enter
the name in the search box.
To search by course, click on
the "by Course" link
on the previous screen and enter
the course name. |

Regular
reserve items appear in the
catalog appear in the Library
Catalog with a call number.
Check to make sure the item
is available and write down
the call number. |

Electronic

from the catalog. Once you click
on the document link, you will
be prompted for a username and
password supplied by your professor. |

Remember: Reserve items that are to
be used only in the Library are checked
out for a two-hour period; there is
a $1/hour late charge. Overnight
reserve items must be returned the
next calendar day. There is a $5/day
