Learning Instruction

A Learning Instructor works with students (one on one or in small groups) to improve their learning strategies. This person is not specialized in the course content as a tutor may be; his or her role, instead focuses on the learning process, the "how" of learning. Additionally a learning instructor helps students assess their reading, writing, time management, organizational, goal setting and study habits; instructs them on strategies that will enhance their learning; and devises a plan for their future success. Freshmen, transfer students, adult students, student athletes, students with disabilities, and others with great demands on their time will find working with a Learning Instructor especially helpful.

Sheekey Writing Center

The Sheekey Writing Center, located in Olney 203, offers drop-in and by-appointment assistance with all writing assignments; evening, Bucks, Gwynnedd and distance students should check out the online assistance options

Math Lab (Olney 124)
