Undergrad Course Expectations

Appointments	Individual appointments may be scheduled by contacting me. My office hours are T TH 9:30-11. You may contact me either in my office at 215-951-1136 or by sending me a message via email. There will be times when the appointment schedule may need to be adjusted due to un-expected emergencies. I will try to notify you if this occurs.
Class Procedures	Please turn all cell phones off during class. I will not allow you to take calls during class. If you phone rings during class, you will be asked to leave and not be permitted to return. You are also expected to be in class and ON-TIME for all lectures, reviews and lab sessions. All classes will be held in the lab, but some classes will be lecture or demonstration. During lectures you are expected to have the monitor turned OFF. If you are late for class and miss material, you are responsible to get the material from a classmate. All work MUST be posted to the Blackboard account for the class--It will NOT be accepted through EMAIL.
Academic Integrity	The University Policy for Academic Integrity may be found at http://www.lasalle.edu/portal/provost/intprop/AIP_Fall_2007.swf. Work submitted for grading should be produced by the submitting individual. Mis-representation of student work will follow the guidelines outlined in the University Policy. Each student is expected to read and complete the project/paper completion form .
Assignment Grading	Assignments will be posted on the course website. The assigned dates and due dates will accompany each assignment. These dates will be strongly enforced. It is the student's responsibility to check the website for posted work. Student absence on a due date is not an excuse for a late assignment. If the student does not hand in the assignment by the class time on the due date, then the assignment is late. Late assignments will have 10 points deducted prior to grading. Assignments will be graded based on completeness, correctness and method of presentation. Assignments more than 1 week late will not be graded. The student will receive a grade of 0 for these missed assignments.
Grading Scale	A = 94-100 A- = 91-93 B+ = 88-90 B = 85-87 B-=83-84 C+= 81-82 C = 79-80 C- = 76-78 D+ = 73-75 D = 70-72 F = below 70 PS. I do NOT round grades.....
